The University of Central Florida
The University of Central Florida (UCF) is an educational institution, which is located in Orlando. It is ranked as the largest undergraduate school in Florida and six-largest university within the nation.
The University Of Central Florida is an honorable member of the State University System of Florida. The educational institution was established in 1963. Firstly, it served as Florida Technological University aimed on supply of the highly qualified personnel to serve the Kennedy Space Center. School was renamed in 1978; it gained the name of the University of Central Florida.
In 1990, the Space Education and Research Center was founded by the University of Central Florida.
Nowadays, the university is arranged with the help of the 12 colleges, which provide nearly 100 courses of study. Because of being developed fast, the institution now owns twelve satellite campuses in Florida, in its east-central part.
As the amount of applicants is growing each year, the demands claimed to the applicants are also rapidly increasing.
The official colors of University of Central Florida are gold and black; the name for the sport team is Knights; the academics logo of the University of Central Florida is Pegasus. Male gold armored black knight called Knightro is considered to be an official mascot.
