Education in Florida
What do you know about Florida? It is for sure that you know that it is one of the states of the United States of America, which is situated in the southeastern part of the country. The total area of this state is 65,795 square miles and this area includes rather big quantity of colleges and universities.
If you do not mind to get higher educational at one of colleges or universities in Florida, you should know what choice you have. As for state educational institutions of higher education, you can choose among ten public universities such as Florida State University or University of Florida and one public liberal arts college New College of Florida. As for system of private higher education, it consists of 28 private educational institutions. They are united into the association called “Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida”. There is also system of Florida Community Colleges, which consists of 28 community colleges.
